For decades, Nigerians have been handed the same explanation for their hardship: "you are poor because you are lazy." Politicians say it, pulpits preach it, and many of the poor have started to believe it. But no nation of 200 million people fails through a collective flaw of character.

Over 130 million Nigerians are poor, and the reasons are stolen billions, refineries that never ran, resources sold cheap, and foreign interests that helped keep things that way. It is time the blame moved to where it belongs.

Apple’s greatest advantage has always been hidden in plain sight. For over a decade, the popular narrative has credited software polish, seamless continuity, and ecosystem lock-in for the company’s dominance. But those are merely the most visible features of a far deeper capability. Apple’s ultimate superpower isn’t its code, it is a mastery of hardware engineering, precision manufacturing, and supply chain control.
